What to expect when you wish to receive services:
Initial Contact: I do not "just make" appointments to see individuals or families. It is important to me to know that when you make a decision to come in, it is because you wish to address a situation or problem where I have significant expertise. If that is not the case, I will suggest other resources, if I know of them. Typically individuals call or email me and briefly describe their situation.

The most common referrals are:
  • Child behavior problems, either disruptive behaviors such as oppositionality or social skills problems;
  • Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE)
  • Questions regarding child diagnoses; requests for psychodiagnostic assessments
  • Expert consultation/testimony cases
  • Consideration of group participation for a student or adult
  • School consultation, requested and paid for by families
  • Individuals with anxiety disorders
  • A comprehensive Rapid Screener® assessment. This is typically done when the family wishes to better understand behavioral priorities and/or to track progress across settings (e.g., school and home).
When you call, either expect for me to return your call within one business day, or my assistant, Abby, can set up a specific "no obligation" phone consult. At that time, we can better decide whether I am the right person to assist you.
